CVSS v3.1

9.1

Critical

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Wavlink AC3000 M33A8.V5030.210505
Description: Multiple buffer overflow vulnerabilities exist in the set qos() functionality of internet.cgi. A specially crafted HTTP request can lead to a stack-based buffer overflow. An attacker can make an authenticated HTTP request to trigger these vulnerabilities, which exist in the en enable POST parameter.
Recommendations: For Wavlink AC3000 M33A8.V5030.210505, consider disabling the set qos() function until a patch is available to prevent exploitation of the buffer overflow vulnerability. Restrict access to the internet.cgi module to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the en enable parameter in the affected HTTP request until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
