CVE-2025-5673

CVSS v3.1

6.5

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Blog2Social: Social Media Auto Post & Scheduler plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 8.4.4
Description The issue is related to SQL Injection via the prgSortPostType parameter due to insufficient escaping on the user-supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This allows authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries, which can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 8.4.4, consider updating to a version that addresses this issue, as no specific workaround is provided for these versions. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the prgSortPostType parameter to minimize the risk of exploitation.
