CVE-2024-39783

CVSS v3.1

9.1

Critical

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Wavlink AC3000 version M33A8.V5030.210505
Description: Multiple OS command injection vulnerabilities exist in the adm.cgi sch reboot() functionality. A specially crafted HTTP request can lead to arbitrary code execution. An attacker can make an authenticated HTTP request to trigger these vulnerabilities. A command injection vulnerability exists in the restart week POST parameter.
Recommendations: For version M33A8.V5030.210505, as a temporary workaround, consider disabling the sch reboot() function until a patch is available. Restrict access to the adm.cgi module to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the restart week parameter in the affected HTTP endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
