CVSS v3.1

9.1

Critical

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Wavlink AC3000 M33A8.V5030.210505
Description: Multiple command execution vulnerabilities exist in the nas.cgi add dir() functionality. A specially crafted HTTP request can lead to arbitrary command execution. An attacker can make an authenticated HTTP request to trigger these vulnerabilities. A command injection vulnerability exists in the adddir name POST parameter.
Recommendations: For Wavlink AC3000 M33A8.V5030.210505, as a temporary workaround, consider disabling the add dir() function until a patch is available. Restrict access to the nas.cgi module to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the adddir name parameter in the affected HTTP endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
