Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel has been resolved. The issue occurred when a process exited and attempted to unmap CSA and free GPU VM. If a signal was accepted and the wait to take the VM lock was interrupted, it caused memory leaking. The problem was fixed by changing to use an uninterruptible wait lock. A warning backtrace was generated, including a call trace with various functions such as
amdgpu driver postclose kms, drm file free, and drm close helper.Recommendations
