Description A memory leak issue has been identified in the Linux kernel, specifically in the dmaengine: idxd component. The problem occurs when an error happens during the idxd alloc() function, causing allocated memory for idxd to not be freed. This issue is resolved by freeing the allocated memory in the reverse order of allocation before exiting the function in case of an error.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
