Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel has been resolved, which previously caused a kernel panic when alloc page failed. This issue occurred because the frag list was set to a NULL pointer when alloc page failed, and it would be used in tls strp check queue ok when tls strp read sock was called next. The problem arose from not resetting full len in tls strp flush anchor copy(), causing the recv path to attempt to continue handling the partial record on the next call, even though the rcvq was detached from the frag list. This resulted in a kernel NULL pointer dereference.
Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
