Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A slab-use-after-free read bug has been identified in the RDMA/rxe component of the Linux kernel, specifically in the
rxe queue cleanup function. This issue arises when rxe cq from init fails, and rxe cleanup is called to handle allocated resources, but some memory resources have already been freed. The problem occurs due to the incorrect handling of memory resources.Recommendations
To resolve this issue, ensure that
rxe cleanup handles all the necessary work to prevent the slab-use-after-free read bug.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Exploit
