Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel has been resolved, related to the btrfs file system. The issue is caused by the incorrect order of arguments in the
btrfs prelim ref function, leading to a NULL pointer dereference. This can be triggered by enabling the btrfs prelim ref insert tracepoint and performing writeback operations. The vulnerability can cause a kernel crash, as evidenced by a backtrace showing a NULL pointer dereference.Recommendations
