CVE-2025-38041

CVSS v2.0

6.0

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:H/Au:S/C:C/I:C/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A vulnerability in the Linux kernel has been resolved, related to the handling of GPU clock frequency changes in the sunxi-ng h616 driver. The H616 manual does not support dynamic frequency configuration for the GPU PLL, which led to issues such as panfrost errors and GPU hangs when attempting device DVFS on the GPU. The fix involves reparenting the GPU clock to the GPU1 clock during frequency changes, utilizing an algorithm described in the manual and already supported by the CPU PLL notifier code.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
