VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A null pointer dereference issue has been identified in the Linux kernel's xhci platform driver. This issue occurs when the remove path attempts to remove and put both main and shared hcds, even if only a main hcd exists, resulting in a null pointer dereference during reboot for certain controllers. The problem arises from not checking if the shared hcd exists before trying to remove it.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
