CVSS v3.1

7.8

High

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description The issue concerns the Linux kernel, specifically the drm/amd/display component. It involves the optc underflow bit not being cleared properly after the ODM clock is turned off. This results in the optc underflow bit remaining set. The problem arises because the clear function does not work after the ODM clock has been turned off. To address this, the optc underflow bit needs to be cleared before the ODM clock is turned off.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
