CVE-2022-49987

CVSS v3.1

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A vulnerability in the Linux kernel has been resolved. The issue was related to the md module, where the md stop writes function was not called in md stop, causing raid1d to continue running even after the path raid dtr -> md stop -> md stop. This led to a KASAN issue. The fix involves stopping writes first in the destructor to align with normal md-raid behavior.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
