CVE-2022-50110

CVSS v3.1

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A memory leak issue in the Linux kernel has been identified and resolved. The problem occurs in the watchdog component, specifically in the sp5100 tco module, where a memory leak of EFCH MMIO resource is present. This leak happens because, unlike the release mem region() function, the release resource() function does not free the resource, requiring explicit freeing to prevent the leak.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
