Description A refcount leak issue has been identified in the Linux kernel, specifically in the ASoC: cros ec codec component. The problem arises from the of parse phandle() function, which returns a node pointer with an incremented refcount. To prevent this leak, it is necessary to use of node put() on the node pointer when it is no longer needed. The issue has been resolved by adding the missing of node put() call.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
