VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A potential memory leak has been identified in the setup base ctxt() function. This issue arises when init user ctxt() fails, causing the allocated memory for uctxt->groups to not be released. The function setup base ctxt() allocates memory using hfi1 alloc ctxt rcv groups(), and this memory should be released with hfi1 free ctxt rcv groups() when init user ctxt() fails.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
