CVE-2022-50138

CVSS v3.1

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A potential memory leak has been identified in the Linux kernel, specifically in the RDMA/qedr component. The issue arises when qedr alloc mr() allocates memory for mr->info.pbl table using init mr info(), and errors occur during rdma alloc tid() and rdma register tid(). As a result, mr is released, but mr->info.pbl table is not, leading to a memory leak. To fix this issue, mr->info.pbl table should be released using qedr free pbl() when an error occurs.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
