Description A vulnerability in the Linux kernel has been resolved, specifically in the intel th: msu component. The issue arose after a commit that removed CONFIG DMA REMAP, which led to a chance of DMA buffer allocation via vmalloc(). This caused problems with the mmapping code. The vulnerability is related to the msc mmap fault function and involves a call trace that includes do fault and do fault.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
