Description A refcount leak issue has been identified in the Linux kernel, specifically in the ehci hcd ppc of probe function. The of find compatible node() function returns a node pointer with an incremented refcount, and it is necessary to use of node put() on it when done to avoid a refcount leak. The issue has been resolved by adding a missing of node put() call.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
