Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A refcount leak issue has been identified in the Linux kernel, specifically in the
drm/meson component, related to the meson encoder hdmi init function. The of find device by node() function takes a reference, which should be released using put device() when no longer needed to prevent a refcount leak. The issue has been resolved by adding a missing put device() call in the error path.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
