CVE-2022-50213

CVSS v3.1

7.8

High

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A potential use-after-free issue exists in the Linux kernel due to the netfilter: nf tables allowing SET ID to refer to another table. When doing lookups for sets on the same batch by using its ID, a set from a different table can be used. If the table is removed, a reference to the set may be kept after the set is freed. To fix this, the kernel now uses the table that was used for the lookup by name and only returns sets belonging to that same table.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
