Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel has been resolved, related to KVM: x86/mmu, where the NX bit is treated as valid when using NPT. This issue occurs when the NX huge page mitigation is enabled, causing a WARN to trigger on reserved SPTE bits being set. The estimated number of potentially affected devices worldwide is not available. There is no information about real-world incidents where this issue was exploited.
