Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
Dell PowerScale OneFS versions 9.5.0.0 through 9.10.0.1
Description:
The issue is related to an improper neutralization of special elements used in an SQL command, also known as 'SQL injection'. This could be exploited by a low-privileged attacker with local access, potentially leading to denial of service, information disclosure, and information tampering.
Recommendations:
For versions 9.5.0.0 through 9.10.0.1, consider restricting local access to minimize the risk of exploitation until a patch is available.
As a temporary workaround, avoid using SQL commands that may contain special elements until the issue is resolved.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
