Description:
A critical vulnerability has been found in the D-Link DIR-619L, affecting the function
formSetWAN Wizard51 of the file /goform/formSetWAN Wizard51. The manipulation of the argument curTime leads to a stack-based buffer overflow. This issue can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public. This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer.Recommendations:
For D-Link DIR-619L version 2.06B01, as a temporary workaround, consider disabling the
formSetWAN Wizard51 function until a patch is available. Restrict access to the /goform/formSetWAN Wizard51 endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the argument curTime in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Exploit
