CVE-2025-6689

CVSS v3.1

6.4

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: FL3R Accessibility Suite plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.4
Description: The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's fl3raccessibilitysuite shortcode due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes, such as username or password. This allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page, potentially through API endpoints like "/api/v1/login" or "/users/{id}".
Recommendations: For versions up to, and including, 1.4, update to a version that addresses the insufficient input sanitization and output escaping issue. As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the fl3raccessibilitysuite shortcode until a patch is available. Restrict access to the fl3raccessibilitysuite plugin to minimize the risk of exploitation.
