Description:
A NULL pointer dereference issue has been identified in the Linux kernel. The problem arises from the
aspeed lpc enable snoop() function not checking for a NULL return value from devm kasprintf(), which occurs when memory allocation fails. This results in a NULL pointer dereference. The issue is resolved by adding a NULL check after devm kasprintf().Recommendations:
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
