| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
GoZen Forms plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.1.5
Description:
The issue allows unauthenticated attackers to perform SQL Injection via the
forms-id parameter of the emdedSc() function due to insufficient escaping on the user-supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible to extract sensitive information from the database by appending additional SQL queries into already existing queries.Recommendations:
For GoZen Forms plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.1.5, consider disabling the
emdedSc() function until a patch is available to prevent exploitation. Restrict access to sensitive database information to minimize the risk of data extraction. Avoid using the forms-id parameter in affected functions until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.SQL injection
