Description: The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes in the uncode hl text and uncode text icon shortcodes. This allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

Recommendations: For versions up to, and including, 2.9.4.2, consider disabling the uncode hl text and uncode text icon shortcodes until a patch is available to prevent exploitation. Restrict access to pages that use these shortcodes to minimize the risk of arbitrary script execution.
