Description:
A reference leak issue has been identified in the Linux kernel, specifically in the HID appletb-kbd module. The problem occurs when the
appletb kbd probe function attempts to get the backlight device by name, causing the backlight device get by name function to increment the reference count for the device without releasing it. This results in a reference leak. The issue is related to the appletb backlight backlight device.Recommendations:
