Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel has been resolved, related to the sched/fair component, specifically the NEXT BUDDY feature. Enabling NEXT BUDDY triggers a warning in the
pick next entity() function. The fix involves moving the clear buddies() function to prevent delayed dequeue bits from causing issues with the ->next buddy. This ensures that no new ->next buddy starts as delayed.Recommendations
