Description:
The issue is a Heap-based Buffer Overflow that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction, where a victim must open a malicious file.
Recommendations:
For Adobe Framemaker versions 2020.8 and earlier, update to a version later than 2022.6 to resolve the issue.
For Adobe Framemaker version 2022.6, update to a version later than 2022.6 to resolve the issue.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability, however, avoiding opening malicious files can help minimize the risk of exploitation.
