| Vector | AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description:
A potential null pointer dereference issue was resolved in the
drm/amd/pp subsystem, specifically within the atomctrl initialize mc reg table() and atomctrl initialize mc reg table v2 2() functions. These functions do not validate the return value of the smu atom get data table() function. If smu atom get data table() fails to retrieve vram info, it returns NULL, which is subsequently dereferenced, leading to a potential issue.Recommendations:
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
