Description: A weakness in password requirements exists in Mitsubishi Electric Corporation’s EcoGuideTAB photovoltaic system monitor, allowing an attacker within the Wi-Fi communication range to derive the password from the SSID. The product is not affected when in power-saving mode with the display unit’s LCD screen turned off (default: 5 minutes). The affected products were discontinued in 2015, with support ending in 2020.

Recommendations: Ensure the product remains unused for a certain period of time (default: 5 minutes) to allow it to enter power-saving mode with the display unit's LCD screen turned off.
