Description: A hard-coded credentials issue exists in Mitsubishi Electric Corporation’s EcoGuideTAB photovoltaic system monitor. An attacker within the Wi-Fi communication range can disclose information, tamper with data, or cause a Denial-of-Service (DoS) condition by using hardcoded user ID and password common to the product series. The product is not affected when in power-saving mode with the display unit's LCD screen turned off. The affected products were discontinued in 2015, with support ending in 2020.
Recommendations: At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
