Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A potential null pointer dereference issue was identified in the
tegra crtc reset() function within the DRM/tegra subsystem of the Linux kernel. Specifically, memory is allocated using kzalloc(), but a check to ensure successful allocation is missing. This could lead to a null pointer dereference before the drm atomic helper crtc reset function is called if the state is not validated.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
