Description
A vulnerability exists in the Linux kernel related to RDMA/mlx5, specifically concerning the initialization of
obj event->obj sub list before its insertion using xa insert. This can lead to a poisonous pointer being loaded immediately after insertion, potentially causing a kernel NULL pointer dereference and system crash. The vulnerability was addressed by ensuring proper initialization of the list head before insertion.Recommendations
