VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A deadlock issue has been resolved in the Linux kernel related to USB Type-C DisplayPort functionality. The deadlock occurs due to a recursive lock acquisition of the cros typec altmode data::mutex. The call chain involves cros typec altmode work(), typec altmode vdm(), dp altmode vdm(), typec altmode exit(), and cros typec altmode exit(), where cros typec altmode exit() attempts to re-acquire the mutex while it is already held.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
