Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
The Linux kernel contains an issue where a fence leak could occur in the submit error path within the drm/msm subsystem. In error scenarios, a submit operation might be unreferenced without calling
drm sched entity push job(), preventing msm job free() from being called. This can lead to a fence leak, as drm sched job cleanup() may NULL out the fence, potentially causing issues.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
