Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
The Linux kernel contains an issue in the ath12k driver related to the
GCC GCC PCIE HOT RST definition for the WCN7850. An incorrect definition of this register can cause a kernel crash on specific platforms. The issue is resolved by moving the register definition to a table allowing for divergent definitions for WCN7850 and QCN9274, and correcting the register address for WCN7850. IPQ5332 is not affected as it is not a PCIe-based device.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
