Description
A memory leak exists within the remoteproc subsystem of the Linux kernel. Specifically, when attempting to attach to a remote processor using
rproc attach(), if rproc handle resources() fails, allocated resources are not properly released, leading to a memory leak. This occurs when the system is in a RPROC DETACHED state. The issue is related to improper resource cleanup within the rproc attach() function.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
