Description:
SolarWinds Database Performance Analyzer contains a hard-coded cryptographic key. Exploitation of this issue could lead to a machine-in-the-middle (MITM) attack against users. This requires additional software not installed by default, local access to the server, and administrator level privileges on the host. A machine-in-the-middle (MITM) attack is a type of cyberattack where a malicious actor intercepts and potentially alters communication between two parties who believe they are directly communicating with each other.
