CVE-2025-38507

CVSS v3.1

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Linux kernel versions prior to 6.6
Description: The Linux kernel contains an issue where bluetooth suspend/resume operations with Nintendo controllers could cause kernel stalls or panics. This was reported on Android devices using kernel 6.6. The issue stemmed from a resume hook added for USB joycons, leading to stalls when connectivity was unreliable or lost during suspend. The fix involves setting a new state value during suspend to prevent waiting for input reports and avoiding re-initialization of bluetooth controllers during resume if connectivity is lost.
Recommendations: Update to a newer kernel version to resolve this issue.
