CVE-2025-38515

CVSS v3.1

4.7

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:H/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description: A race condition exists between the spsc queue push function and the run-job worker, potentially causing job scheduling to halt and leading to hangs while waiting on DMA fences. This occurs when spsc queue push returns not-first while the run-job worker has idled due to a zero job count. The issue was observed on a drm-tip 6.16-rc1 build with the Xe driver in an SVM test case.
Recommendations: At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
