| Vector | AV:A/AC:L/Au:S/C:N/I:N/A:C |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description:
The Linux kernel contains a flaw within the
damon get intervals score() function in the mm/damon module. The current implementation permits zero-sized regions, which can cause a divide-by-zero error when calculating the intervals score, leading to a system crash. The patch addresses this issue without disallowing zero-sized regions to maintain backward compatibility. The crash can also occur when intervals goal.access bp is zero.Recommendations:
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
