Description:
A flaw exists in the Linux kernel related to trace event handling. Concurrent loading of modules can lead to corruption of the trace event list during modification of printk format strings, potentially causing a kernel crash. The issue arises because the addition of a new trace event does not acquire the
trace event sem for write access while adding the event to the ftrace events list.Recommendations:
