Description:
A deadlock issue was resolved in the virtio-net driver. The issue occurs when a VIRTIO NET S ANNOUNCE request is sent by the Virtual Machine Manager (VMM) while the virtio-net driver is still probing. This leads to a recursive call to
rtnl lock() within the virtnet probe() function, specifically during the execution of virtio config changed work() and netdev notify peers().Recommendations:
