Description:
A memory leak was resolved in the
fbtft framebuffer alloc() function within the staging area of the Linux kernel. Specifically, memory allocated for info->pagerefs in fb deferred io init() was not being freed in error paths after the fb info structure was successfully allocated. This issue was addressed by adding a cleanup function to the error path.Recommendations:
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
