Description: The vulnerability involves a missing detach ioas operation in the vfio/pds component of the Linux kernel. This issue occurs when CONFIG IOMMUFD is enabled and a device is bound to the pds vfio pci driver, leading to probe failures and a warning message in the kernel logs. The root cause is the absence of a defined vfio device ops.detach ioas function within the driver.
