CVE-2025-38633

CVSS v3.1

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description: A flaw exists in the Linux kernel where the pll1 d8 clock could be disabled during probe deferral, leading to a system hang. This occurred because disabling the CLK DMA clock, a parent of pll1 d8, reduced the enable count of pll1 d8 to zero, causing it to be disabled. Marking the clock as critical prevents it from being disabled.
Recommendations: At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
