Description: A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the MFER parsing functionality. A specially crafted MFER file can lead to arbitrary code execution. The vulnerability manifests on line 8824 of biosig.c when the tag is 11.

Recommendations: libbiosig versions prior to 3.9.0 should be used. As a temporary workaround, avoid processing untrusted or malicious MFER files.
